That was a beautifully written tribute to Charlie Munger.
It’s amazing how much Charlie has touched and inspired so many of us. Like you, I have learned so much from him, and will do my best to carry the torch.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Charlie. I made the trip to the last Wesco meeting and got a picture taken with him. It's fuzzy, but will be treasured. I first got to know him through Outstanding Investor's Digest, the May 1995, Dec 1997 and March 1998 issues. Those were my introduction to his rational thinking process. I passed these along to my sons and their friends in the hope that some of his wisdom would stick. I'm grateful that he shared his insights with us. He will be missed.
When I missed the last Wesco meeting after attending three prior, I felt sad because I was always afraid each meeting would be his last. I never expected another 12 years!
My highlight was asking Charlie about candidate Donald Trump at the 2016 Daily Journal meeting before the primaries and his answer went global.
"At a meeting with investors of his Daily Journal Corp. in Los Angeles Wednesday, Munger, 92, was asked whether a person who couldn’t make money in the gaming industry would be a good fit for the top office in the U.S.
“Well, he did make money for quite a while,” Munger said of Republican Donald Trump. “My attitude is that anybody who makes money running a casino is not morally qualified.”

Hope you are well, and thank you!

Thanks, Yoichi. You too!
Dear Adam, I learned more from you than Charlie and I have met him many times. So, I am going to invert and say thank you to you!
Thanks! :)

Love that. Thank you, Helen. Do you have electronic copies of those issues? I'd love to read them.
Do you have any other issues? I would love to read them. I have tried various Libraries and they do not have any!
Can you count me in on the electronic copies of those issues? I too would love to read them.
Michael, I’m bring a thumb drive with copies of all of the issues I have to Adam at BRK
Dear Helen, Thank you! I cannot wait to read them again! Thank you for following up.
Michael, I thought it might be too big to email so I thought Adam may be able to post them.
If he his posts them on the site, is that copywrite infringement? Let him think about that.
Are you going to be in Omaha?
I just emailed each one in separate emails to you. Please let me know if you received them.

Doug, it is good to know that Charlie and Bloomberg can be wrong on occasions.
My condolences to Charlie's fans on his death.
Note: I named my daughter Charlie after the great man in 2020
Wow, that's an incredible tribute. :)
That was my concern as well. If posting doesn't work I'll try emailing them to you, but it will take some time.
